Day 1: Arrival and Regional Exploration

Depart for Jabal Sawda (Saudi Arabia’s highest peak and the Kingdom’s majestic summit, a cradle of natural beauty). Enjoy breathtaking panoramic vistas and crisp mountain air. This mountain has long been a sanctuary for those seeking tranquility and beauty, and a witness to Asir’s ancient history, rich with stunning natural treasures and unique geological formations that tell tales of the past (tour duration: 2-3 hours).

Head towards Rijal Almaa Village, a 45-minute drive.

Lunch at a local restaurant en route.

Explore Rijal Almaa Village, where stone narrates history and arts come to life. Nestled amidst the towering mountains of Asir, Rijal Almaa Village embraces a rich history spanning centuries. The village is famous for its unique stone towers adorned with colorful murals that recount tales of the past and embody the creativity of its people. This UNESCO-listed site offers visitors a vivid glimpse into the region’s rich architectural and cultural heritage, featuring numerous viewpoints and local markets. Dinner at a traditional Asiri restaurant, followed by a return to the hotel.
Day 2: Parks, Museums & Mountain Charm

Head to Al Habala and take the cable car down the mountain. Explore the ancient and abandoned villages nestled amidst the mountains (subject to available days).

Proceed to Tamniah Village, which embraces an authentic cultural heritage manifested in its sturdy stone buildings and winding alleys. The village exudes the spirit of hospitality and generosity of its people, with numerous viewpoints offering glimpses of wildlife

Visit Prince Sultan Park (SP Park), known for its hiking trails and wildlife.

Visit the Al Othman Rose Farm for Taif roses, approximately an hour away. Here, discover the secrets of cultivating this precious rose and its distillation to produce the finest rosewater and perfumes, a unique sensory experience amidst Abha’s stunning nature. The farm features exhibitions selling Taif rose shampoo and showcasing the method of extracting fragrance from roses (optional, depending on time).

Visit the Tubb Archaeological Fort, located northwest of Abha and considered one of the region’s most important archaeological sites. Built during the First Saudi State, it served as the political, cultural, and economic capital of the area, featuring ancient palaces and fortresses dating back hundreds of years, and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and farms.

Return to Abha for dinner.
Day 3 -Paragliding, Hiking & Mountain Retreat

Pick-up time from the accommodation after enjoying breakfast.

Arrive at Al Sahab Park and enjoy the following activities: o Visit a heritage museum. o Hike in the forests and witness the clouds below the mountains. o Visit the Jatham Heritage Village, which is over 600 years old, and wander through its ancient buildings.

Head and continue along the scenic mountain road with stunning views of villages, forests, and the mountain slopes on the other side.

Arrive at Shaaf Bilismar for a guided hike through terraced farms

Day 4 -Al Namas Town
